Oh What a Night!
Hundreds of Fans Attend Bruins Alumni Game
LACONIA, NH- The Laconia Ice Arena was busting at the seams Saturday night as over 700 energized fans watched a great hockey game between the Bruins Alumni and Team LRGHealthcare! Rick Middleton, Steve Leach, Brad Park, Andy Brickley, and Terry O’Reilly were just a few of the select Bruins who took the ice against LRGHealthcare doctors, staff, and local hockey players.
With support from incredibly generous sponsors and revenue from ticket sales, advertising, and raffle donations, the event raised nearly $20,000! All proceeds from this fundraiser, including the sale of event photos, will benefit Senior Services at LRGHealthcare.
“We could not be more thrilled with the outcome of this event,” explains LRGHealthcare Program Director of Senior Psychiatric Services and Committee Chair, Stacy Sorrell. “The outpouring of support from our very generous sponsors, advertisers, donors, volunteers, employees, players, the Laconia Ice Rink, and the hundreds of community members who attended the game, is overwhelming. It was truly an amazing night for a wonderful cause and the money will go to very good use.”
The night’s festivities wrapped up at a private reception at ‘O’ Steaks and Seafood, where players from both teams, event sponsors, and their guests were treated to delicious refreshments and great company.
