DEANA HARTY CAHOON AWARDED 2009 SUSAN BOULTBEE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

LACONIA - In a ceremony on June 19, 2009, Deana Harty Cahoon was presented with the 2009 Susan Boultbee Memorial Scholarship (the seventh such award). Sue was a creative and energetic RN at Lakes Region General Hospital for many years and was full of passion for nursing and school, while she also raised a family of three boys.

This scholarship is presented to a nursing student each year in honor of Sue Boultbee, RN, BSN.

Deana is a nursing student at Lakes Region Community College, planning to graduate in 2010. She lives in Meredith, and is the mother of a young son. She has a special interest in pursuing a career in homecare, specializing in geriatric care.

The award was presented to Deana Harty Cahoon by Mark Wilkinson, oldest son of Susan Boultbee.
