Registration open for Winnipesaukee Wellness Center Charity Golf Classic

CENTER HARBOR/MOULTONBORO, NH – Meredith Ford has again signed on as the Hole-In-One sponsor for the Winnipesaukee Wellness Center Charity Golf Classic to be held at the scenic Waukewan Golf Club in Center Harbor on Saturday, September 15, 2007.

The $75 Tournament fee includes green fees, cart, a light lunch, a delicious barbecue dinner catered by Canoe Restaurant and Tavern and lots of prize opportunities. In addition to the hole-in-one challenge there are numerous golf prizes including $400 for the winning teams in two divisions, $200 for second place teams, and $100 for third place teams. We will also award prizes for closest to the pin on all par threes, longest drive, Vegas hole, putting contest, and other specialty contests and raffle prize opportunities.

The golf tournament is the major fundraiser to support the Winnipesaukee Wellness Center, a self-funded department of LRGHealthcare, which provides a medically supervised exercise program for Northern Lakes Region residents. Meredith Ford joins Meredith Village Savings Bank, Waukewan Golf Club, Canoe Restaurant and Tavern, and E.M. Heath as major sponsors of the Wellness Center Charity Golf Classic.

The Center is a fun place to exercise and people with many different medical challenges will benefit. It is never too late to start a health enhancing wellness program, so come visit the Center at 80 Bean Road on the Center Harbor/Moultonboro line or call 253-1839 for further information. Operating hours are from 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
