Visiting Guidelines

We understand that it is important for you to be able to visit with family and friends while you are in the hospital. Because we want to make this as convenient as possible, we do not have strict visiting hours. However, we do ask that you are courteous of other patients, and recognize that there are times at which the nursing staff may need to ask your family or friends to leave.

Family Birthplace at LRGH: Fathers and family may visit at anytime, and fathers or partners are also welcome to stay overnight.

Pediatrics: One parents may stay overnight in their child’s room after making arrangements with nursing staff.

Intensive Care Unit: Family only, or by arrangement with nursing staff.

Please keep in mind that, with the exception of the Family Birthplace (where fathers or partners often stay through the duration of the patient’s visit), shower facilities and beds are available only to patients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
