Orthopedics involves the care and treatment of the human skeletal system, or bones and joints. It encompasses everything from the treatment of a fractured or broken bone, to the evaluation and prevention of osteoporosis, to the joint replacement procedures that so many of us need as we grow older. From prevention to rehabilitation—orthopedic care involves the collaboration of many elements of healthcare.

Residents of the Lakes and Three Rivers communities are fortunate to have access to a range of orthopedic services that are not available in many community hospitals. Six board certified orthopedics surgeons practice here, and are supported by excellent diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and rehabilitative services.
