“People sometimes see a Chaplain as an angel of death, but at times I am also called upon in times of greatest joy, such as offering a blessing at the birth of a baby. It is challenging and humbling to be with people during times of sadness, loss, or change, but it is also very rewarding to see the hope, encouragement, and comfort that people draw from my work as a Chaplain. It gives me great joy to be a part of the team that assists in the healing process.”
